Classic, all time favourite that is packed full of flavour. Fruit is elongated with deep red colour and thick skin. 

Position: Sunny airy spot in well drained, improved soil. Deep soak when almost dry. 

Uses: Intense flavour when vine ripened, perfect for slow cooking, preserving and sauces. Also good in salads, especially with olives and feta cheese.
