Riesentraube, meaning ‘giant bunch of grapes’ is a German heirloom variety. This is an extremely productive plant, bearing astonishingly long clusters of 20 to 40, 30-35mm red fruit.

Position: Airy, sunny spot in well drained soil. Can be grown in a large pot. 

Uses: Flavour is so rich, it is often used to make tomato wine. Can be used in salads, baked in the oven or eaten fresh as a healthy snack.
