Fragaria x ananassa – ‘Red Gauntlet Strawberry’

A popular commercial variety growing to 30cm tall and 40cm wide. Grows well in vegetable plots, strawberry bags, pots or hanging baskets. Plant in a sunny position in improved, well drained soil. Ripen fruit on bush to get the sweetest flavour. 

Harvest Season: Spring/summer

Fruit: Medium – large size fruit, heart-shaped.
