A lovely rare climbing plant with large, glossy green leaves and beautiful mauve flowers that cover the plant all through summer and into autumn. It is able to grow large, up to 5m tall and 5m wide with the right support but it can also be trained to stay smaller. 

It is perfect to grow up fences, arches, arbors and on the outside of the patios and verandah.

It should be grown in well drained soil in a full sun position. It is semi-deciduous in Perth and can be fully deciduous further south. It should be protected from frost but will thrive in heat and full summer sun. It does need regular water over summer.
