Summer Savory is a low-growing, highly aromatic annual herb that belongs to the mint family. Features thickly branched stems covered in narrow dark green leaves. Produces small white, pink or lilac flowers with seeds formed shortly after. 

Position: Full sun to part shade. 

Uses: Hot peppery flavour with hints of marjoram, mint and thyme, can be used as a seasoning. Used fresh or dried, works well in slow cooking. Also used to treat a variety of ailments including sore throat, stomach and digestive disorders.
