It is an excellent plant for mass displays and landscaping or for succulent, waterwise or low maintenance gardens. It grows well in pot and can even be grown indoors as it is hardy and needs minimal water.

It should be grown in a part shade position in well drained soils. It is very tolerant of drought but needs protecting from frost.
