Salvia – ‘Ignition Purple’

A lovely perennial with deep purple flowers from Spring through to Autumn. It is a smaller plant growing to 60cm tall and 60cm wide and is perfect for pots or the garden in wildflower type gardens and rockeries. To encourage best growth and shape give slow release fertiliser annually and prune back by half after flowering.. It grows best in full sun planted into well drained soil. It is an excellent plant for a water wise garden as it does not have high water needs only requiring extra deep watering during extended dry and hot periods.
