An upright shrub with a sweet pineapple flavour and edible carmine red flowers contrasting with green foliage. 

Position: Will grow in low light to full sun and likes regular moisture especially during summer. 

Uses: Delicate flavour so best added late in cooking. Can be used as an edible garnish. Makes a relaxing herbal tea.
