Acacia cyclops – ‘Red Eyed Wattle’

A hardy, dieback-resistant species of Acacia, native to Western Australia. The red ringed seeds are edible, and traditionally ground into flour. This wattle seed has a nutty flavour and is also used to enhance sweet and savoury dishes, and as a coffee substitute.

Grows to 3x3m, and is suitable for a full sun position.
