175mm pot

$24.99

Out of stock

“Chilliwack” produces sweet plump fruit during mid summer. Unlike many other varieties the canes produce minimal thorns.

Suckering bramble berry with cane-like stems up to 2m high. Fruit is produced following the white flowers on the previous seasons canes during summer and autumn. Prune back old canes down to ground level after fruiting allowing room for the new canes to grow up. Best in a sheltered position with protection from the afternoon sun. Dislikes a hot windy spot. For ease of harvest and pruning raspberries are best trained up against a trellis.

Dig in plenty of organic matter before planting and mulch well.
