Used for preserves, quince jelly and stewing. The Smyrna produces large fruit at a very young age.  Plant in full sun

Height : 3-4 meters, can be kept smaller with pruning

Fruit Size: Extremely large pear shaped

Fruit: Light yellow. Tender when cooked

Skin: Smooth, pale yellow when ripe.

Flavour: Sweet when cooked

Possible Pollinators: Reported to be self fertile
