Jasminum mesnyi – ‘Primrose Jasmine’

A tough, fountainesque, arching shrub, Primrose Jasmine sends out long shoots that, if supported, act as a climbing plant. Masses of blooms in spring and summer are bright yellow and lightly fragrant. Plant next to a wall to train shoots to climb, or leave unsupported and allow to grow as a sprawling shrub. Pruning may be necessary if the plant becomes thatchy in the centre.

Suitable for a range of soil types, and drought tolerant when established. For best results, plant in a sunny position in well-drained, improved soil.
