Pomegranate – Rosavaya

A slightly acidic yet sweet pomegranate with large, pink fruit. The tree can grow up to 5m tall in the ground but can be pruned down to 2m. It fruits from autumn through to winter in Perth.

It can be grown as a fruiting small tree or shrub in water wise gardens or small gardens. It can also be grown in large pots that are 100L+. 

It should be planted in well drained soil in a full sun position and watered to establish. Once established in the garden it is drought tolerant. It does need from protection from frost in spring when the new leaves are growing.
