A dwarf version of this popular Japanese plum. Reaches 2x2m. A good universal pollinator for plums that flower at the same time as Santa Rosa. Used for fresh fruit, jam and stewing. Young trees can take their time to come into bearing fruit.  Plant in full sun

Fruit Shape: Round with a tinge of pink under the skin

Flesh: Yellow with a tinge of pink under the skin

Stone: Clingstone

Skin: Bright red, becoming a dark purplish crimson at maturity

Possible Pollinators: Mariposa, Satsuma and partially self fertile
