Please note that we cannot send ANY trees outside Western Australia.

We take orders all year round for Bare Root Trees. Stock is delivered each year in June and July. We will advise the cost and availability by email or text message when your trees have been received.

Please confirm your order after you receive notification of arrival. The Bare Root Trees will be held once you confirm your order.

Platanus x acerifolia “London Plane”

Large tree suited to sizeable gardens and acreages. Good for avenue plantings and as a shade tree. 

Habit: 14m H x 10m W

Growth Rate: Moderate to fast

Foliage: Large mid-green leaves with coarsely serrated lobes. Golden brown in autumn.

Flower: Insignificant. Produces spiky seed balls.

Bark: Mottled olive-brown and grey. Highly ornamental.

Position: Best in full sun. Tolerates most soil types, air pollution and will take heavy pruning.
