Philodendron warscewiczii

$49.99

FEATURES: This unusual collectorโ€™s plant is a distinct and abnormal tropical plant that features deeply divided, feathered leaves that emerge a golden yellow, eventually turning green. A climbing variety, however, the stem is so thick that will support the plant until it reaches 1.2m or so in height at which point it either needs trim back or add a moss-covered totem for support.

HEIGHT X WIDTH: Philodendrons can get big when mature and are often unrecognizable from their potted juvenile state, can be controlled with pinching, pruning and pole support.

FOLIAGE: Large, neon yellow to green segmented split, feathered leaves that can reach 60-90cm tall and wide

FLOWER: Adored for its stunning yellow spathes, which are indeed a captivating sight

POSITION: Grows faster in Bright, indirect light but will tolerate low light

USES: Collectors house plant, tropical indoor jungle, gift for a newly green thumb, patio, courtyard, veranda, shade and greenhouses, shaded tropical themed gardens

COMMENTS: Water when the top 2-3 inches of soil is dry. Use a foliar or liquid fertiliser every month in spring and summer. It is best grown in fertile, organic, well-draining and slightly acidic soil. ย Once your plant reaches 1- 1.5 m in height pinch off the new growth tip, generally within a couple of weeks you should have new growth buds forming at multiple nodes creating a fuller, lush plant.
