Philodendron sp – ‘Hope’

Price range: $16.99 through $199.99

FEATURES: Commonly known as Tree Philodendron. A lush, self heading variety, meaning that new leaves emerge from the central base and it grows an upright, woody trunk-like stem as it matures. It does not climb or trail extensively on its own, though it can be guided vertically with a totem or stake if desired.

HEIGHT X WIDTH:1.5 x 1.5 when grown outdoors, 1m indoors.

POSITION: Bright, indirect light, but can adapt to lower light

FOLIAGE: Produces large, wavy edged, elephant ear like leaves that are deeply lobed and glossy green for a dramatic appearance that can grow up to 1 meter in length.

USES: Indoor decor for large rooms, beginner plant gift, shaded garden beds, containers, patios, tropical vibes

COMMENTS: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Pot in organic rich, free draining soil. Protect from drafts. Fertilize with a water soluble fertiliser every 4-6 weeks in spring and summer. Generally forgiving of inconsistent watering, frost, lower humidity.
