An easy to grow vine with golden fruit that has stripes of purple and tastes like a cross between a honeydew melon and a cucumber. Originating in the Andes region of South America the name Pepino is Spanish for cucumber. 

Position: Part to full sun, will grow in most soil types. 

Uses: In savoury dishes like salads and stir fries, or as a melon with cream and sweet sauces. Perfect snack for school lunch boxes.
