Ornamental pears are one of the best trees for Perth gardens tolerating heat and periods of dry. Most varieties also take wet positions and heavy soils as well as variable soil pH, some even do coastal sites. Plant in full sun for best flowering and autumn colour.

Korean Sun™ is a small growing pear suitable for smaller gardens. Effective when planted as a screen.

Growth Rate: Moderate  to slow

Foliage: Glossy green becoming red and orange for autumn.

Flower: Prolific white flowers during spring.

Bark: Light grey becoming furrowed with age.

 Tolerances: Waterlogging for short periods.
