A new release extremely narrow growing ornamental pear, the Javelin is a good choice for an area with restricted space and avenue plantings.

Habit: 10m H x 2.5m W

Growth Rate: Moderate

Foliage: Dark green glossy leaves emerge purple. Orange-red in autumn.

Flower: White flowers during spring

Bark: Greyish brown becoming lightly furrowed with age

Position: Plant in full sun for best flowering and autumn colour. Slightly alkaline soils and intermittently waterlogged areas tolerated, also some coastal psotions.
