Ornithogalum thyrsoides – ‘Snowflake’

An unusual plant with a clumping growth habit growing to 50cm high and 30cm wide, this plant grows from a bulb which will go dormant in the garden in Summer and reshoot in Autumn. In Spring a lovely flower white spike shoot from the plant and can be either left on the plant of removed to enjoy indoors in a vase. This plant is great for sunny positions in the garden or to be planted in a container. Remove spent flower heads to prevent the plant for setting seed and to keep the plant looking attractive.
