Tall but narrow growing oak tree. Good for avenue plantings. Grow in full sun for best results.

Growth Rate: Moderate

Foliage: Glossy and dark green lobed leaves. Red to bronze during autumn , better colour is produced in cooler areas. Dried brown leaves persist over winter.

Flower: Insignificant

Bark: Dark brownish grey, scaley and rough with age.

Tolerances: Most positions including wet sites
