Nematanthus fissus ‘Goldfish’

Nemanthus fissus is a lovely upright plant with thick green leaves that works will on a patio, in a shaded garden bed, or indoors. Long red flowers are covered in fine hairs, making this plant a little more unusual. Likes to be kept in a bright position, out of direct sun. Naturally an epiphyte, ensure that soil is free draining. Keep moist through the summer, and drier in winter, but do not allow to dry out. Trim regularly to keep bushy. Feed with a quality liquid fertiliser to encourage flowering.
