A Brassica native to Tasmania, Wintercress has a strong, peppery flavour and can be enjoyed fresh in salads, or cooked in stir-frys and other savoury dishes. All above ground parts of the plant are edible, including the flowers and seeds.
Grow in a sunny to partly shaded position in improved free-draining soil. Native Wintercress is an attractive addition to herb gardens and is a great potted plant for sills or balconies.
