A modern cultivar of a delightful old world plant with brilliant red flowers, an attractive garden plant and a colourful addition to salads. 

Position: Plant in sunny position in well drained, limey soil. Also suited to large pots and even window boxes. 

Uses: Add flowers to salads, vinaigrettes, salad oils, pasta and use as a garnish. The dark leaves also add colour in salads. Both have a spicy watercress type flavour and are high in vitamin C.
