Myrsine africana – African Box

Price range: $16.99 through $29.99

An upright evergreen shrub grown for its rounded, leathery, aromatic foliage which is a glossy dark green. This densely foliaged shrub makes an ideal hedge plant and is useful for shrub borders.

Growth: 1.5m tall x 1-2m wide

Position: Tolerates a range of soils and conditions but thrives in moist well drained soil in a sunny position with protection from cold, drying winds. Tolerates short periods of frost.
