A relative of kale, cabbage and collard greens, the huge leaves of Red Giant have a striking purple and green colour with a mustard flavour that gets hotter as the leaves mature. 

Position:  Rich soil with lime for a pH of 7.5. Adequate water and mulch. 

Uses: In Chinese, Japanese and Indian cooking, lightly steamed, in stir fries, or young leaves fresh in salad or sandwiches.
