An attractive perennial with deep green leaves and a mushroom like flavour from the mountain forests of Papua New Guinea.

Position: Prefers moist but well drained soil in a semi shade position with morning sun. Goes dormant in winter in cooler climates.

Uses: Goes well with all green salad vegetables, cooking tomatoes and in stir fry recipes. Use the fresh young leaves with salads and in sandwiches.
