Price range: $19.99 through $149.99

FEATURES: Tropical climbing / trailing plant with elongated, glossy green leaves that become increasingly perforated as they mature. The juvenile leaves are solid and as the plant grows, they develop oval-shaped fenestrations along the central vein. This is a plant you can grow and develop with- however, she’s a pretty fast grower, so you’ll have to keep up.

HEIGHT X WIDTH: 2m indoor with support

POSITION: Bright, indirect light, will tolerate lower light

FOLIAGE: Dark Green foliage changes shape as it matures. Mature foliage can be over 92cms long and 30cms wide with large window openings near the mid veins.

FLOWER: Insignificant

USES: Beginner friendly, fast growing houseplant for a chronic underwater-er, statement floor plant as a more mature plant on a pole, planting in shady gardens, containers.

COMMENTS: Toxic if ingested due to crystal oxalates. Plant in chunky, well- draining soil. Monsteras have long been a symbol of longevity and respect.
