Ophiopogon japonicus – ‘Green Mondo Grass’

$14.99 – $24.99

A lovely grass with strappy green foliage able to grow up to 25 cm tall and 50cm wide. In spring it produces white flowers followed by ornamental, navy berries.

It is a great border plant for dividing different plantings or to provide a barrier between paths and plants. It also can be grown under shady established trees or under the shadow of garden structures where it will grow as a dense groundcover.

It should be planted in full to part shade in well drained soils. It will tolerate frost but not dry soil so it must be watered regularly in summer. It should be fertilised with slow release fertiliser annually.
