A wonderful, porous charcoal which holds water and nutrients in the soil and has the perfect structure for microbes to populate. It has many benefits, it captures carbon while being created, reduces fertiliser requirements, reduces nutrient leeching and is a stable way of adding acidic organic matter to our alkaline soils. 

To super charge your biochar before using it you can soak it in water with liquid nutrients like seaweed, worm wee or fish juices to allow it to soak up some extra nutrients before adding it to the soil.
