Deciduous Magnolias are known for their spectacular display of flowers during late winter through to early spring. Needs a sunny (morning sun is best) but protected spot in Perth and may be tricky to grow in some areas. A compact variety that has a shrubby habit.

Height: 3 m

Width: 2 m

Growth Rate: Slow to moderate

Foliage: Large soft green leaves.

Flower: Reddish purple cup shaped flowers occur in mid spring. Mildly fragrant

Tolerances: Frost hardy.
