Deciduous Magnolias are known for their spectacular display of flowers on bare branches during late winter through to early spring. 

Habit: 5m H x 3m W

Growth Rate: Slow

Foliage: Soft mid-green.

Flower: Large, black-red tulip-shaped flowers unfurl into goblets up to 15cm in diameter with a slight perfume.

Position: Plant in a sunny spot that is protected from hot, damaging winds. Prefers well-drained soil, improved with organic matter.
