Litchi chinensis – ‘Seedless Lychee Sue Lin San’

An Australian cultivar producing large, seedless fruit. Best grown alone as cross pollination with other lychee varieties can cause some of the fruit to produce seeds.

Position: Needs a full sun position with protection from wind and frost

Size & Habit: Evergreen, 2-5m high x 2-4 m wide, slower growing

Flower: White or yellow clusters

Fruit: Crisp and sweet with a pleasantly sharp pineapple aftertaste

Skin: Pink, textured 

Cropping: Summer, mid-season, Jan-March

Harvest/Maturity: 3-5 Years

Pollination: Self-fertile

Uses: Eating fresh, dried, frozen, or pulped.
