Liriope giganteum – ‘Evergreen Giant’

Liriope ‘Evergreen Giant’ is a fantastic clumping grass for borders, mass planting, filling in gaps, and for planting in those trickier areas. Uniformity in size and height make it perfect for landscaping, it grows to 60cm wide and 60cm high. Purple flowers are produced in amongst the foliage in summer and autumn and are then followed by ornamental blue berries.

Liriope is extremely tough once established, tolerating periods of dryness and only requiring the occasional deep watering during summer. Tolerates most soil types and only requires trimming to remove dead foliage and flower spikes. Plant in a sunny to shaded position with well-drained, improved soil for best results.
