Easy to grow even in poor soils, especially near the sea. Almost continuously in flower.

Position: Plant in a sunny position in well drained soil. Tolerates poorer soils and dry conditions.

Flower: The flowers arc similar to florist’s statice. They are a purple-blue, held on stiff stems, and appear throughout lhe year, good for drying.

Foliage: Clumps of broad olive green leaves.

Size: 50cm H x 40cm W

Uses: Plant amongst other low maintenance perennials in dry or Mediterranean style gardens.
