A medium sized deciduous tree or shrub. This strongly fragrant shrub is an attractive addition for any garden.

Habit: 3m H x 3m W

Growth Rate: Moderate

Foliage: Mid green heart shaped.

Flower: Large, very dense, double lavender-purple fragrant flowers spikes are produced in mid spring. Fades to lilac pink.

Position: As for all English lilacs plant the graft 10cm below the soil level and remove any suckers as they appear. Dislikes a very hot weather so best grown in a sunny but protected position in Perth. Dislikes acidic soils.
