Foliage: Mid green heart shaped.

Flower: Fragrant single blue-violet flowers

Being a hybridised x hyacinthiflora cultivar, this lilac may be more suitable for areas recieving lower chill than traditional vulgaris culivars.

As for all English lilacs plant the graft 10cm below the soil level and remove any suckers as they appear. Dislikes a very hot weather so best grown in a sunny but protected position in Perth. Dislikes acidic soils.
