Leptospermum nanum rubrum – Dwarf Red Tea Tree

This is a lovely low shrub growing to 1m tall and 1m wide with stunning deep red to pink flowers in winter and spring. It is very hardy, able to withstand drought, frost, winds and coastal conditions making a perfect pop of colour in a garden with challenging conditions To keep it compact and dense it should be pruned after flowering. It will respond well if the soil around the roots is mulched and it is given yearly slow release fertiliser applications.
