Allard’s Lavender is an excellent hybrid of Lavendula dentata and Lavendula latifolia. It has a long flowering period.
Position: Sunny spot with well drained soil.
Flower: Lavender flower spikes are produced in flushes from October to April (all year in warm climates).
Foliage: A large, upright plant with steel grey foliage.
Uses: Useful as a hedge or in mixed garden bed planting. Can be dried and used in potpourri, in sachets and in drawers. A range of culinary and medicinal uses including as a herbal tea to soothe headaches, infused into ice cream, in soaps, oils and candles.
