Similar to the Nagami variety but with smaller leaves and a rounder, thinner skinned, slightly sweeter fruit. The entire fruit can be eaten straight from the tree, both the skin and flesh are very sweet. Fruit stays on the tree for an extended period.

Commonly grown for its ornamental value as well as for fruit. Cold resistant and hardy. Suitable for pots, reaching up to 3 m in the ground. Also spelt “cumquat”
