Kennedia nigricans – “Black Coral Pea”

Native to Western Australia, Black Coral Pea is found in areas from Esperance to Albany and south of Perth. A twining, vining climber, Kennedia has unique black and yellow pea flowers from winter through to summer. Use to cover large areas on fences, and walls, or as an embankment ground cover.

Suitable for coastal gardens. Tolerates sandy to loamy soils, but for best results, plant into improved, well-drained soils in a sunny position. Drought tolerant once established.
