Anigozanthos hybrid – ‘Yellow Gem’

A relatively tough kangaroo paw that produces masses of yellow flowers high above the foliage. Relatively low maintenance, flower stems should be pruned to the ground after flowering. Perfect as a feature planting, to attract birds and insects, landscaping, in waterwise gardens, and striking when planted en masse and with other varieties. Very drought hardy, however watering at the time of flowering will benefit.

‘Yellow Gem’ has flowers up to 40mm long borne on spikes up to 1.5m in height. Flowers appear from spring to summer. Will grow 1.5m high x 1m wide.
