This water spinach is a classic leafy Asian green with an aquatic or semi-aquatic habit. It is a fast-growing vegetable treated as an annual in cooler climates. 

Position: Sunny position with ample water. 

Uses: A versatile green that partners well with all Asian flavours like laksa leaf, coriander, ginger, garlic and chilli. Use in stir fries or steam and eat with other greens. All parts of the plant are edible but must be eaten fresh. 

Harvest: Young leaves can be picked regularly and used straight away. The more you harvest the better it produces.
