A member of the Brassica family that includes cabbage, brussel sprouts, broccoli and cauliflower. This is a compact growing variety of Kale with attractive curled blue leaves.

Position: Tolerates less than perfect soil, cold weather conditions and becomes sweeter with frost. Plant in full sun with moist but well drained soil. Can also be grown in containers.

Uses: Young leaves in salads and older leaves in soups, casseroles or wilted with butter and mixed herbs.
