Isopogon formosa – ‘Rose Coneflower’
$14.99
A stunning shrub with unique spiked leaves that are a furry red when young and fade to a deep green. It can grow to 2m tall and 1.5m wide. In spring and winter it produces lovely, fuchsia pink flowers.
The stunning blooms make it a wonderful addition for any garden but it especially suits native and cottage gardens thanks to its attractive flowers and unusual leaves.
It should be planted in well drained soils in full to part shade. It can tolerate light frost but will not tolerate long dry periods so it must be watered over winter. It should be lightly pruned to shape and fertilised with native slow release fertiliser yearly.ย
