Hypoestes phyllostachya – ‘Freckle Face Plant’

Price range: $4.99 through $8.99

FEATURES: Colourful foliage, non-toxic to cats and dogs, easy to grow

HEIGHT X WIDTH: 30cm x 30cm 

FOLIAGE: Oval with a pointed edge, green base colour with pink, red or white speckling  

FLOWER: Salvia-like pink/ purple, summer into autumn

POSITION: Part shade to full shade

USES: Pots and containers, indoors, verandahs and patios

COMMENTS: Can self-seed in the garden so does best planted in pots to limit its spread, should be tip pruned regularly to maintain a bushy, compact shape.
