Hibiscus rosa-sinensis – ‘Flamingo Star’

$29.99

A gorgeous, large hibiscus reaching 3m tall and 3m wide with rounded, green leaves and large, double flowers with petals shaded with red, white and rose. The flowers are produced from spring to autumn. 

 

This plant is a great informal hedge, screen or specimen plant and is great for tropical themed gardens. 

 

It should be grown in full sun to part shade in fertile well drained soils. It will appreciate being mulched to protect the roots from climate extremes. New growth can be damaged by frost so be sure the danger of frost has passed before pruning the plant in spring.
