Hardenbergia violacea – ‘White Out’ (PBR)
175mm pot shown, plant sizes may vary
$19.99 – $29.99
Often referred to as “Native Wisteria” for its cascading panicles of pea-flowers, Hardenbergia is an extremely tough, vigorous, native climber that will do well in almost any position. White flowers are produced from winter to spring and will attract native butterflies, birds and bees to the garden. Leaves are dark green and eucalypt-like. Very fast growing, this twining climber will cling onto anything it can reach, so is great for quickly covering walls (with a trellis), fences, arches, pergolas and old tree stumps. Trim if tendrils begin to stray into other plants. Happy Wanderer can also be kept pruned as a shrub or ground cover.
Will tolerate coastal conditions. For best results, plant into well-drained, improved soil in a sunny position.
