Hardenbergia violacea – ‘Sea of Purple’

Price range: $18.99 through $24.99

‘Sea of Purple’ is an extremely tough, vigorous, native groundcover growing to 30cm tall and up to 3m wide. Flowers are produced in winter and spring and will attract native butterflies, birds and bees to the garden. Leaves are dark green and eucalypt-like. It is great for mass plantings in native gardens and performs well in containers and hanging basket. Trim the plant if tendrils begin to stray into other plants or onto areas it is not desired.

Will tolerate coastal conditions. For best results, plant into well-drained, improved soil in a sunny position.
